Michelle Wilson is the athletic director of R.B. Stall High School. Coach Wilson has been a teacher and coach at Stall since the 2021-2022 school year. During her career Coach Wilson has coached varsity girls soccer and taught human geography. Coach Wilson was appointed athletic director starting with the 2023-2024 school year.
Wilson spent 2013-2016 as an assistant women’s soccer coach at the College of Charleston before moving to Long Island University-Brooklyn for a similar position with the Blackbirds. After returning to The College for the next two seasons in an assistant capacity before the start of her teaching career in 2021.
Wilson was an assistant women’s soccer coach at the University of South Carolina Upstate for one season before her first stint at The College.
Prior to her season at USC Upstate, Wilson served as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C.
Wilson first began her college coaching experience during the fall season of 2010 when she assisted the head coach of Spartanburg Methodist College. Prior to that, she had coached a girls’ middle school soccer team at Oakbrook Preparatory School. She has coached with several prominent soccer clubs throughout her career to include CESA, Charleston Soccer Club, Downtown United Soccer Club – Manhattan, Surf, and James Island Youth Soccer Club.
Wilson served as an assistant coach of of the semi-professional women’s soccer club The Charleston Fleet competing in the WPSL from 2019-2021.
In 2010, Wilson earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Converse College. During her time there, she played Division II for the Valkyries. She later went on to receive her Master of Science in sport management at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. By the end of 2021 Wilson had earned her Master of Teaching degree at The Citadel where she completed her student teaching at Wando High School and started her first year teaching position at Sedgefield Middle School in Goose Creek, SC.
